Near St Ives, St Michaels Mount and Penzance. Ideal location for beaches, surfing, walking, SW coastal path, National Trust gardens, bird watching and fishing.

This self catering holiday cottage provides very comfortable accommodation for four people in a 300 year old (approx.) farmhouse with many original and traditional features. It is one of the few surviving cob walled buildings in West Cornwall. The cottage comprises:
  • Two bedrooms sleeping 4 people: one double room and one twin room

Over looking a secluded valley

Cuckoo Cottage is situated in a quiet semi-rural location over looking a secluded valley in the village of Crowlas. It is near the A30 and is an ideal location to explore the many attractions and sandy beaches of West Cornwall and is within easy reach of St Michael’s Mount and Marazion (2 miles), Penzance (3 miles) and St Ives (7 miles). Locally, there are many historic fishing ports, ancient heritage sites, museums, art galleries, gardens, stately homes and a range of modern visitor attractions catering for all the family. The Eden project is only 45 miles driving distance.

Within 3 minutes walk of Cuckoo Cottage is the Post Office and Spa Shop of Crowlas, excellent for local groceries, and the Star Inn, serving traditional ales. Footpaths across the adjacent fields and valley lead to the Domesday village of Ludgvan, with a 14th century church and public house serving excellent food and drink in a traditional country pub atmosphere.

The cottage is also served by main line rail stations at St Erth (2 miles) and Penzance with direct links to Exeter, Plymouth and London.

One large or two small well behaved dogs are welcome on arrangement.
